The facility has an active homeowners association and wanted a dual purpose website - providing a public face, a password protected area for realtors, and an intra-net system for homeowners. The public front-end provides an opportunity for homeowners wishing to sell their unit to provide a photo and a link to the full description on their realtor's website.
The focus of the site is to provide a sense of the beauty of the neighborhood along with ready access for the homeowners and realtors to news and resources via the intra-net.
With over 60 member companies, Artisan Exchange is a community of specialty food businesses offering authentic foods for a sustainable community. Each company has a story to tell and the Exchange itself has a phenomenal range of services to support new and growing businesses. So, the website needs to communicate with two audiences - specialty food entrepreneurs and customers for products of the member companies.
For entrepreneurs (members), the exchange offers a comprehensive array of support services, including: manufacturing space rental, a commercial kitchen (for product development, and flexible, high volume manufacturing), a marketing, distribution, and delivery service, and a year-round weekly retail market.
For customers, the exchange provides high quality, local, specialty foods including family heirloom recipes featuring cuisines of over 25 countries. Each member has a remarkable story to tell and the real heart of this website are the member profiles describing how each of the businesses came to be and and what the owner wishes for her/his customers to experience.
This is highly visual with active customer content management.

Within the city's theme of "History, Growth, and Opportunity", the challenge for the website was to provide a modern, professional site that conveys the friendliness of the city along with on-going content management, special features for government notice, and a map-oriented listing of properties available for sale.
CEDA's logo provided inspiration for the color scheme and tone of the website.
And, the rich history of the city (Penn's landing, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s seminary, Bill Halley and the Comets) provided a real connection to today's efforts in economic and social development.
